Time I posted some new stuff. I entered the Lovecraft poster and I'm waiting for word back from the website. Hopefully they contact me..... Looks like all I've got now is the rough beginnings of an SOI entry. I wanna make it like a Pulp comic cover titled "It Came From Between Her Legs" I know I know, its offensive....

New Stuff

Ok, so here's what I have been up to, we've got an event poster for the HP Lovecraft film festival. I love the way this piece is turning out thus far. I can't wait to see it all finished. The second is just another speedy (or beginning of one), and the last is is the final step of a 6 panel Pattern, Texture assignment in Design, Its not a real show but it'd be a good one wouldn't it? Thanks for looking guys!

And Finally...

And just to show that its not all about exaggeration, here are some of my latest figure drawings. Top one is graphite on bristol, the bottom is black and white Charcoal on Toned paper. Also, the bottom is a WIP, I will post it again once finished.

Some other works

So this one is an alphabet series targeted towards young children (Kindergarten to 1st grade) The theme is future careers. Same as the cards, quick and easy process. I think I got the point across, but there are some type issues and some awkward tangents.

Latest Work

Here are two of my cards for Humorous Illustration. Overall, they're incredibly dark... which I'm ok with. I like the style I was working in and the process went fast and smooth. If you want one for yourself or to send to a loved one, let me know and I can make it for ya.

Here's a Book Cover of Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo. Done in Photoshop. The idea was pretty clear here, I really wanted the light streaming in to be the focus of the piece, and contrasting that ray of hope against the dark, grimy green of the prison cell I think was a good way to illustrate the scene.

Snow speed paint. This was a lot of fun. Took me about 2 hours or so and I'm not finished yet. But you get the idea. I might do a couple more pieces set in this area. Maybe a nice little story to go along with it. What do you think?
